The Addington- 31st August
A quality field including former European tour stars Gary Evans and Ronan Rafferty were at The Addington. The course proved very popular but tough to master as only two players could beat par over the 36 holes. Mike McLean came close to another win, finishing two shots behind winner Lee James who recorded fine scores of 67 and 68. Gary Evans finished in a tie for third with the UK’s’ No. 1 long driver Adam Stacey.
Farnham – 16th August
Our first ever 36 hole event resulted in a good win for former European Tour player Mike McLean. The veteran showed his class on the day as he fought off the challenge of David Griffiths and James Sheffield with rounds of 67 and 71 [ six under par] for a two shot victory margin. The Farnham course was in outstanding shape, and with the addition of several new bunkers and back tees created a challenging test for the tour players.
The Berkshire [Red] – 1st August
A strong field gathered for the 66 Pro Tour event at The Berkshire, one of Britains’ finest inland venues. Fresh from victory in last weeks’ European Challenge Tour event, Dan Gaunt secured his fourth win on the tour with a bogey free 64, closely followed by Paul Maddy [Gog Magog] on 65. The Red course was a delight to play presented in immaculate condition.

The 66 Pro Tour players all appreciated the opportunity to play a tournament on one of the most famous links courses in England.
On the 14th June the Tour visited the Camberley Heath club in Surrey. The fabulous heathland layout was in tip top condition. David James (Bridgnorth) recorded a brilliant five under par 66, a great effort considering he had to contend with the wind and rain late in the afternoon. James won by one from Guy Woodman (East Berkshire) and picked up a cheque for £3000. He also secured a spot at the 66 Pro Tour’s special event at The Grove on 5th July.
