Prince’s Golf Club – 12th April 2010

The first series event of 2010 was held over the superb Shore and Dunes layout which now stretches well over 7000 yards. The Open qualifying venue for 2011 was in fine shape and the staff and members at Princes once again made the Tour very welcome. A fierce wind on the day made scoring a real challenge, with only three players managing to match the par of 72.

In the subsequent play off Daniel Gaunt (Burhill) stroked in a four foot par putt to secure victory.

Rob McGuirk (Princes) and Callum Scott (Wildwood) shared the runners up spot. The 66 Pro Tour will be returning to Princes in 2011 for a special event and we highly recommend golfers to visit this legendary piece of linksland, which has undergone renovation this winter under the management of Troon Golf.
